I’ve wanted to be a writer since I was a child—or a marine biologist or zookeeper—any one of those occupations would have satisfied my childhood ambitions. As an adult, I did something else entirely and worked in women’s healthcare for most of my career. My first novel, Spark in the Underground City, will launch on Amazon Kindle in early 2026. Some of my short prose will be published in 2026 as well, and I’m halfway finished with my second novel.
I write under the pen name T. L. Shane so that my neighbors won’t know what I’m up to. I live in California and I like dogs, babies, good coffee and tea, and train travel.
